House fire kills woman and dog

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - A house fire in Fort Collins has killed a 64-year-old woman and a dog.

Poudre Fire Authority officials said Tuesday investigators are trying to determine what caused the fire late Monday. The fire is believed to have started accidentally in the living room.

Firefighters said it was difficult for them to find the victim in the two-story house because of the amount of material stored in each room. Her name wasn't immediately released.
