How to get to and from the USA Pro Cycling Challenge

Ahead of the Prologue Time Trials Monday, USA Pro Cycling Challenge organizers want to remind you of road closures and the best ways to get to the event.

The most convenient way to make it to the race is by bike. The City of Colorado Springs and Mountain Metropolitan Transit's Metro Rides program are setting up a free bike valet. The valet service will be at the Expo area, near the finish line at Colorado and Cascade. The valet will be open from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. and will be staffed by volunteers.

If you plan to travel by car, there will be free on-street parking from noon until 6 p.m. on Monday. The meters will not be hooded, but they will be free. There will be paid parking near the downtown finish line in three City garages. The garages will be first-come, first-serve and the cost is $0.75 per hour cash only. To access downtown, drivers will want to use the Uintah, Bijou or Cimarron exits.
