It's been established that certain strains of human papillomavirus can lead to cervical cancer. Now doctors say people infected with other HPV strains are more likely to develop skin cancer.
The increased risk was especially pronounced for those on immuno-supression drugs.
The study led by researchers at Dartmouth Medical School.
