Hunters face charges over poison arrows

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - Colorado Parks and Wildlife agents have arrested four men on suspicion of illegally killing wildlife with poison arrows.

Authorities say George Plummer, Joseph Nevling, Michael Courtney and James Cole were arrested Saturday at their camp in Brush Creek Area, east of Collbran.

According to KREX-TV, the men are accused of using poison with their archery equipment, hunting black bears with bait, hunting after legal hunting hours and illegal possession of big game wildlife.
