Pueblo's Hyde Park neighborhood on the west side has a new look.

Once a year, the Health Department goes into different communities to pick up trash and provide a dumpster service where you can drop off bulk trash items for only $15 a truckload.

Today, they collected 45 truckloads and recycled 120 tires.

They also cleaned up the surrounding prairie.

Next Saturday, September 29, from 8:00 in the morning until 1:00 in the afternoon, there will be a similar clean-up in Pueblo West, only for residents in that area.

If that applies to you and you're interested, you can buy tickets in advance for truckloads at the Pueblo West Metro District.

They will meet next Saturday north of the library, near the intersection of Joe Martinez and Civic Center Drive.

If you'd like more information, you can call the Recycle Hotline at 719-583-4924.
