Several immigration rallies were held across the state Friday. In Pueblo, about 40 people showed up to this forum at CSU-Pueblo. Two professors organized the event to show their opposition to Arizona's immigration law and spread a message of equality. "That's my hope that as US citizens, we learn to speak other languages, we learn to be part of a global community and learn to respect other people, their religions, their values, their cultures, their traditions--all of those things," said Fawn Amber Montoya, a professor at CSU-Pueblo.
Also in Denver Friday, hundreds of high school and college students walked out of their classes and marched to the state capitol to protest the bill.
