Improving conditions in some areas may be temporary

Conditions are beginning to improve in southern areas of Pueblo County, but that improvement may be temporary. Another round of snow is developing from Walsenburg to Trinidad as the first round of snow continues its northward trek along I-25 through Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

We still appear to be on track for conditions to begin improving after 2-3 PM. The wind will hold wind chills in the single digits in the warmer areas along the Southern Front Range. Colder spots will experience wind chills of as cold as -10.
