A pilot at the Colorado Springs Airport aborted a take off around 11:30 this morning.
The American Airlines MD-80 had an engine problem while on the runway. The pilot shut the engine down before the jet left the ground and taxied back to the terminal.
There were 130 passengers and 5 crew members on board. No injuries were reported. All passengers were placed on later flights.
