If you are hunting for a job in Colorado Springs, you are in luck. A veteran company, Entegris, is creating a new facility, and along with it, one hundred new jobs will be created.
The Economic Development Corporation made the announcement this morning at the Antlers Hilton Hotel in downtown Colorado Springs.
Entegris is a technology manufacturing company that supplies the semiconductor industry.
Their new facility will be their advanced technology manufacturing plant. Specifically, they will produce 450 mm semiconductor wafer handling products, which will support the industry's move from 300 mm wafers, and Extreme Ultraviolet Light (EUV) reticle pods.
"We're making a big investment in that technology because we want to be one of the leaders in the world in this area," says Bill Shaner, Vice President and General Manager of Entegris.
Entegris has been in Colorado Springs since 1992 and currently employs 200 people. This is their first expansion in ten years. They need to fill a wide variety of positions with their expansion, and hope to do so over the next five years.
"From entry level people working in our operations, to technicians, quality personnel, and senior level managers," adds Shaner.
Depending on the position, pay will range from $30,000 to $120,000 thousand dollars.
Hiring will begin starting in October. You can apply on line by clicking here.
*Entegris is traded on the NASDAQ (ENTG); has research facilities in the United States, China, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan.
