A Wisconsin judge has delayed the trial of a man charged with theft and property damage to a building owned by Denver Nuggets head coach George Karl.

The Appleton Post Crescent reports that Aaron Marheine, 34, was the owner of an Appleton nightclub housed in a building owned by Karl.

In the complaint, Marheine is accused of stealing commercial appliances and causing more than $62,000 in damage to the building. Marheine has argued that he was allowed to sell the items to make up for money he spent on building improvements.

On Thursday, the judge granted a request by lawyers to delay the trial until the end of the NBA season because Karl could be called to testify. The trial rescheduled for June 25. Karl used to be the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks.
