Lake Pueblo State Park fire ban lifted

Lake Pueblo State Park is lifting all fire restrictions in accordance with changes enacted by Pueblo County. Open fires are once again permitted in furnished grills, charcoal grills, stoves and other metal containers. Visitors are reminded that fireworks are never allowed in Colorado's state parks.

Fire danger is high to extreme across the state, and new bans and restrictions are possible. Anyone planning a cookout or campfire in a state park should call ahead or check the park's website for updated information.
