Landeskog out Monday with head and leg injuries

DENVER - The Colorado Avalanche will not have their captain with them Monday night in Edmonton. Gabriel Landeskog suffered head and leg injuries as a result of a hit he took Saturday by the San Jose Sharks' Brad Stuart.
The Avs say there is no timetable for his return. The declined to elaborate on the nature of the head injury. However, Landeskog actually returned to play early in the second period Saturday and said he felt good after the game.
