Larimer County health officials are looking for as many as 100 people to staff swine flu immunization clinics in the county for at-risk residents.

The county says it is looking for volunteers for the clinic positions but will get health care professionals if enough people don't sign up. The announcement was made on the county's Web site this week.

Health officials say one large clinic will be at the Larimer County Fairgrounds and other smaller ones will open around the county. Details of the locations and instructions on how to volunteer will be announced in the next several weeks. The county tentatively plans to open the clinics by the end of October or early November.

It's not known when a swine flu vaccine will be available.
