A long-standing tradition at Security Service Field, "Bark in the Park" allows dog owners and Sky Sox fan the opportunity to spend time out at the ballpark with their lovable, four-legged friends. The Sky Sox hold these events in conjunction with the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region.
"The Human Society loves to participate in the Sky Sox ‘Bark in the Park' because the fans prove time and time again what dog lovers we are here in the Pikes Peak Region, " said the Humane Society President & CEO, Jan McHugh-Smith. "Studies have shown that companion animals are considered family members, and these evenings celebrate the human/animal bond by giving pets and families social time together."
