Local drug bust nets drugs, weapons and cash

Colorado Springs Police Department, Metro Vice and Narcotics Unit spokespersons have released a statement detailing a month long investigation. On Friday April 15th, VNI detectives concluded their investigation with a drug buy sting and search warrants that led to the arrest of three suspects involved in distribution of Crack Cocaine in Colorado Springs.
The report details that three men were arrested by the CSPD Tactical Enforcement Unit which found them in possession of ¼ pound of Crack Cocaine and a fire arm. Following search warrants netted other weapons including an AK-47 assault rifle and more than $17,000 in drug proceeds. The arrests were conducted in the 4500 block of Lamplighter Cir. And the 1300 block of Chaco Circle.
