BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Officials in southern Montana have released the name of a Colorado man who was killed when his sport utility vehicle struck a deer.
The Big Horn County coroner says 51-year-old Douglas E. Berg of Yoder, Colo., died Tuesday night after his Jeep hit a deer and veered off Highway 47 about 16 miles north of Hardin.
The Montana Highway Patrol says Berg's Jeep went down an embankment and rolled. Berg wasn't wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. He died at the scene.
