Local party ends with fight and shotgun blast

Colorado Springs Police Department tells News First 5 that a party turned bad early Sunday morning, when a fight broke out then shots were fired. When officers arrived at 215 Milton Dr, they found one victim who had been shot in the chest with what appeared to be "Bird shot" from a shotgun.

The victim's injuries were determined to be non-life threatening and the victim refused treatment. Other people at the party also claimed to have been threatened with the shotgun as well. They identified an uninvited guest who brought the weapon to the party. Witnesses told police that the suspect, a Hispanic 18 - 20 year old male who fled the scene in a black Jeep Cherokee. The suspect is described as approximately 5' 11" tall with a medium build and shaved head. He also has a tattoo on the left side of his neck and large gauge piercings in both ears.

Police say four people, 2 adults and 2 minors were also arrested but it is unclear what their relationship is with the shots being fired and the described suspect.
