COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - A new veterans outpatient clinic in Colorado Springs will be built on the city's west side between Interstate 25 and Garden of the Gods Park.

Colorado Republican congressman Doug Lamborn announced the location Saturday.

The clinic will be built on an 18-acre site at the corner of West Fillmore and Centennial. It's expected to open in the fall of 2014.

Lamborn says Congress has authorized $10 million toward construction of the 80,000-square-foot building.

Its services will include radiology, mental health care, dental care, audiology, physical therapy, home-based primary care and substance abuse treatment.

It will also have a lab and a pharmacy.
