Lone Ranger casting call

The casting company working on the Disney movie "The Lone Ranger" will be in Colorado Springs Monday looking for extras, and the list borders on bizarre.

Sande Alessi Casting will be at the UCCS Campus on Monday between 3 and 6 p.m.  They're looking for background extras for this summer.  We know the movie will be shot in Utah and Colorado.  The movie will star Johnny Depp as "Tonto."

Here's the list of body types needed for the movie:

  • Native American men age 18-75
  • Chinese (or Chinese-looking) men age 18-75
  • Women weighing 400 lbs or more age 18-60
  • Men height 7'9 or taller age 18-60
  • Extremely thin men age 18-60
  • Adult twins height 4 feet or shorter age 18-60
  • Limbless person (either no arms or no legs) age 18-75
  • Little people 3 feet to 4'5 tall age 18-75

Those interested should bring:

  • A current 3x5 color photo. Do not bring a professional photo. No wigs, make-up or sunglasses in photos. Please shoot it from the waist up.
  • A pen or pencil

Those applying must be over 18 years old and have a social security number and valid ID.

Though free parking is provided, please bring change for meters in the event the
lot is full
