Louisville Slugger makes bats for All-Star MLB game

The Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory has been buzzing with activity as crews begin work on the 2013 Major League Baseball All-Star bats.

The bats will be used in the Home Run Derby on July 15 and the All-Star game on July 16 hosted by the New York Mets for the first time since 1964.

The bats will carry special All-Star logos, but are still tailor made to the specifications of the hitters, including signatures and team names that are placed on the wood by a laser.
