Don't wait until it starts to snow or freeze.
There are all kinds of products that can help, from shovels and ice melt for your driveway to window insulation that can help seal up openings, keep heat in, and save you money!
Plus, if you want to avoid frozen pipes you can get insulation, and they even have ways to heat your pipes.
"It has a magnet, then there's a cord connected to it from there that you plug into the wall, and it's an actual heater that will keep your pipes from freezing," said Cyrus Kile, Big R Assistant Manager.
Of course, if you need a heater, there are plenty to choose from
Even though many of the newer models have safety shut-offs if they tip over, make sure you still read all of the directions and use it safely to reduce the risk of fire.
