Man arrested for threatening parents with shot gun

Fountain police have arrested a man who they say fired a shot gun in his home and again at a passing car. Michael Townsend Jones, 29, is in custody on felony menacing, assault and weapons charges.
According to a new department news release, officers believe Jones had been drinking and fighting with his parents in their home on Candlestar Loop at around 1:00 a.m. Saturday. He grabbed the gun and his parents fled.
Jones was later arrested while walking in the neighborhood. No one was injured.
