The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery at a liquor store. It happened Saturday at approximately 10:00 p.m. at Stratmoor Liquors. The store is located at 1807 B. Street.

Investigators say the man entered the store, showed a hand gun and demanded money. A release from the Sheriff's office did not say if the man got away with anything.

The suspect fled the area in a white colored Ford Taurus with partial Colorado license plate "UOE".

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid 20's, approximately 5'08 to 5'10 tall, wearing a dark blue or black hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the El Paso County Sheriff's Office at 719-390-5555.
