PUEBLO - A motorcyclist was seriously injured after hitting a car Wednesday morning, according to Pueblo Police. Police tell News 5 that a car headed west on 13th Street ran a red light, pulling into the path of a motorcycle driving northbound on Greenwood Street. The motorcycle hit the driver's side of the car.
The motorcyclist, a 67-year-old man, was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Charges against the car's driver, Karen Cruz, are pending.
Police believe that speed was a factor in this accident.
