Medal of Valor luncheon underway

The 26th Annual Colorado Springs Police Department Medal of Valor Luncheon is underway at the Broadmoor International Center in Colorado Springs.
Seven CSPD officers are being honored for their heroism and courage displayed during the past year.
Officer Troy Puga is being awarded the Medal of Valor.
Officers Lakiska John, Kenneth Gatewood, Philip Mawaka, Jeffrey Clippinger, Brad Birch and John Surma will be receiving the Distinguished Service Award and the Citizen of Distinction Medal will be given to Brandon Ridenour.
