The public is invited to participate in an e-Town Hall meeting about the future of Memorial Health System as city leaders weigh proposals for potential ownership. Four prospective buyers have already stepped forward to purchase city-owned hospital including Centura Health, the University of Colorado Health System, HCA - Health ONE LLC and the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System. A fifth option involves allowing Memorial Health System to become an independent non-profit organization that would lease the buildings from the city.

Executives from each of the interested parties will participate in meeting this afternoon from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend in person at the City Council Chambers in City Hall, 107 N. Nevada Avenue.

Questions will also be taken over the phone at 385-5961, or via email at MemorialTownHall@springsgov.com. Each group will also make a presentation and take questions according to the following schedule:

1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Centura Health
