Memorial Hospital issues statement on missing toddler

The following statement was sent out by Memorial Hospital at 9:30 a.m.

At about 7:50 a.m. this morning, Memorial Health System reported a possible child abduction. At this time the child has not been located. The child, Sierra Criss, is a 19-month-old white female with blonde hair, who was last seen wearing a pink shirt and black pants. The child was last seen with a white male, bald, wearing a black jacket and black, baggy sweatpants. This person is possibly the child's father.

Per protocol, Memorial has enacted its child-abduction procedures, and Memorial is working with local law enforcement at this time.

We believe there is no danger posed to the public at this time.

If you have information related to this incident, call the Colorado Springs Police Department at 719-444-7000.
