Men suspected in thefts caught leaving store

SUPERIOR, Colo. (AP) - Boulder sheriff's officials says three men suspected of stealing from Target stores were caught because they were leaving the store just as deputies were arriving at the parking lot.

Boulder County Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Tom McGrath says the deputies became suspicious of the men because they were pushing a cart packed with electronic equipment from the store Friday.

McGrath says the men were also on their way to a car that had been reported stolen in Arvada.

The men arrested were 19-year-old Steven Board, 26-year-old Bradley Hofmeyer and 22-year-old Justin Orts. They faces charges that include theft and theft by receiving.

McGrath says the men are suspected of also stealing from Target stores in Denver.
