GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - Mesa County commissioners are rejecting bonuses for county employees who find savings.

Commissioners say the workers should already be doing that as part of their job.

According to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel, a county employee compensation committee recommended that the county split 50-50 any savings with the county's 960 employees because many employees have gone without raises for three years.
