Mild and breezy Saturday

A Red Flag Warning is in effect for most of Southern Colorado from noon until 8pm today with dry weather expected plus a breezy south-southwest wind gusting up to 35 mph at times.

After some morning fog, expect mostly sunny skies this afternoon with temperatures jumping to above average readings. Most locations will top out in the 60s and 70s today. Winds will be breezy at times gusting as high as 35 mph.

There's a slight chance for a passing shower Sunday for the Pikes Peak region with other locations looking dry and partly sunny for the second half of the weekend.

A system will approach Colorado for the start of the workweek bringing a chance for rain and snow across Southern Colorado Monday through Wednesday. The best chance of rain for the lower elevations arrives Tuesday with the best chance of snow Wednesday.
