Quiet and mild weather will continue through Saturday.
Today we'll see plenty of sunshine, but there is a SLIGHT chance of a shower in the far northern part of Teller & El Paso Counties, as well as along the I-70 corridor. But other than this small chance, we will stay dry through at least mid-Saturday. Highs today will be a few degrees cooler than yesterday, but still into the 60s and 70s.
Friday and Saturday are similar. Both days we're partly to mostly sunny - with more clouds late Saturday. Highs will stay in the 60s and 70s.
But things change Saturday Night / Sunday. A strong storm will move through the area bringing clouds, showers and a drop in temperatures. Highs will drop by 20-30 degrees from Saturday to Sunday. But most area will be warm enough that any showers we see on Sunday will be in the form of rain.
Late Sunday / early Monday there's a chance that more showers could continue. If they do, it will be cold enough to see some snow early Monday morning. So we'll be on the lookout for the possibility of another slick commute to start next week.
Hope you're enjoying the mild temperatures... Meteorologist Valerie Abati
