AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) - The Air Force Academy says a military judge has sentenced an airman who used and distributed Ecstasy to six months of confinement.
The academy says Airman 1st Class Ralph Day also was sentenced Tuesday to forfeit $1,000 in pay per month for six months and to be reduced in grade to airman basic.
Day pleaded guilty at a special court martial to two specifications of violating Article 112a of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, and the judge found him guilty of wrongfully using and distributing Ecstasy.
