A family missing in the remote mountains of northern Nevada since Sunday has been found alive.
The Pershing County Sheriff's office confirmed to NBC News that the two adults and six children were found safe and "in good shape" in a mountain canyon.
The group, 34-year-old James Glanton, his girlfriend Christina McIntee, and the four children disappeared Sunday after venturing out to "play in the snow".
Two of the children belong to Glanton and McIntee; the other are nieces and nephews.
Temperatures dropped to 16 degrees below zero during the two day search.
