A mobile home burned this afternoon in eastern Pueblo County. It started as a grass fire started possible sparked by a cigarette, according to the Sheriff's Office.
The fire started in the 3800 block of 44th Lane. At one point five homes were threatened. One mobile home was destroyed.
Fire crews are on the scene. The fire was quickly spread by strong winds.
No injuries were reported.
Another fire is burning near Brighton. Aerial footage from our sister station, KUSA, shows homes and buildings on fire.
