More Flooding Possible Wednesday

Flash Flood Watch continues for much of the area through 9 PM tonight. More showers and t-storms will develop creating more flooding. At this point, we're seeing some light rain showers as well as some mist and drizzle. And because of the cloud cover, we are fairly stable, but that doesn't mean that we won't see a few t-storms. Highest of elevations will see a few t-storms later today as a weak disturbance moves through. SO this means more flooding is going to be possible this afternoon. If you see any flooding in or around your neighborhood, send us a picture, it might show up on our newscast.

Everyone is looking at a cool Wednesday ahead. It'll likely be the coldest high of the month, where highs will be 20 degrees below normal. This means highs only in the mid 60s for Springs, 50s for high country, and near 70 for Pueblo.

After today, the weather pattern will change slightly. The abundant moisture will move to our south, as high pressure moves in. But as the cloudy skies and rain give way to some more sun and warmer temperatures, we'll still have to keep pop-up PM t-storms in the afternoon forecast through the weekend.

Temperatures will also start to go up for Thursday and Friday, but even this weekend, temperatures will be a few degrees below average.

I hope you're staying dry... Meteorologist Valerie Abati
