More money is being pumped into flood recovery, in the form of transportation funding to rebuild highways damaged by last month's record floods.
Instead of $100 million, Colorado can now access up to $450 million. Officials are touring areas on Monday to see the progress being made fixing those roadways.
This all comes after Governor John Hickenlooper, along with state congressional leaders, fought for a provision in last week's budget bill to lift the cap on how much emergency transportation funding the state can use.
