More rain for Monday

The weather pattern is beginning to change, but we have one more soggy day to get through first.

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect from 2 PM to 10 PM Monday for El Paso and Teller counties. Heavy rainfall is once again expected Monday afternoon and evening, and flash flooding will be possible. The rain will begin developing in the mountains west of I-25 around 2-3 PM before moving out toward the Southern Front Range and the I-25 corridor. The storms will linger to mid-evening, then some partial clearing is expected overnight. Storms likely will not be as widespread as they were yesterday, but those that do develop could be equally as potent.

Temperatures-wise, highs will be in the mid-to-upper 60's around Colorado Springs with 70's along and south of the Arkansas River and 50's in most areas of Teller County.
