A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for El Paso and Teller Counties Tuesday from Noon until 9 PM.
The weather pattern favors heavy rain once again today, especially right along the Front Range and near I-25. That heavy rain will bring flash flooding again if it falls in areas prone to flash flooding, as it has in recent days. Temperatures will warm into the upper 70's and lower 80's in most areas this afternoon, though most of Teller County likely will only warm in the 60's.
Today's rain will be less widespread than it was yesterday. Rain is in tomorrow's forecast, but it will be less widespread, still. Even still, heavy rain in the right places (or wrong places - depending on how you look at it) could mean more flash flooding.
By the end of the week, rain will end overall aside from a few mountain showers. With the end of the rain will come warmer temperatures.
So, in short, heavy rain continues today and Wednesday. Drying begins on Thursday and looks to stick around through the weekend.
