More showers are possible today, and a thunderstorm or two could even be thrown into the mix. Probably more of us will see rain than yesterday when most of the rain was pinned to the mountains. Temperature will climb into the 60's and 70's for most of us this afternoon.
As low pressure over California moves closer tomorrow, rain and thunderstorms will become more widespread. Temperatures will ease back a bit, but there could be enough instability for one or two strong thunderstorms to develop over the Eastern Plains. That risk for stronger thunderstorms increases closer to the Kansas border.
Rain remains a possibility going into Thursday. Most of us will get a break from the rain on Friday, even though a stray shower will still be possible. On Saturday a cold front will parade through the area and bring another round of rain and thunderstorms.
