Narcotics Surveillance Arrests Man

Colorado Springs, CO - Colorado Springs officers of the Downtown Area Response Team were monitoring the Downtown Surveillance Cameras on Wednesday afternoon, when they observed a known individual near the Acacia Park playground in possession of a large baggie of suspected marijuana. Officers responded and contacted suspect, David Frederick, at the intersection of Bijou St and N Cascade. Frederick was arrested with 96 grams (nearly 1/4 pound) of marijuana and was booked into the El Paso County Jail for possession with intent to distribute marijuana, a class five felony.
