Nazi party adopts highway

A white supremacist group in Colorado is has a new enemy ... litter.

A chapter of the National Socialist Movement (NSM or NSM88), who also calls itself "America's Nazi Party," is participating in the Colorado Department of Transportation's "Adopt-A-Highway" program.

The group will be responsible for picking up trash along a one-mile stretch of highway in Brighton, north of Denver.  A sign is already up in the area with the group's name on it.

Officials with CDOT say they allowed the highway adoption because they could be in violation of the group's free speech had they issued a denial.
