SANFORD, Fla. (AP) - The jury hearing the second-degree murder trial of George Zimmerman has heard today from the man who may have had the best view of his struggle with Trayvon Martin -- a struggle that ended with Zimmerman fatally shooting the unarmed teen.
Zimmerman's neighbor Jonathan Good testified that it appeared that Martin was straddling Zimmerman -- and that the person on the bottom was yelling for help.
He says he was in the process of calling 911 from inside his townhome when he heard a gunshot.
Good said he didn't see anyone's head being slammed into the concrete sidewalk. Zimmerman has said Martin did that to him.
Zimmerman is pleading self-defense in the shooting death of the unarmed 17-year-old last year.
