Neighbors meet about Bessemer revitalization

Around a hundred people came out to show their pride in their neighborhood.

Members of the City held a meeting to talk about the revitalization of Bessemer in Pueblo.

City Council member Sandy Daff will soon be working at NeighborWorks to focus on Bessemer.

They wanted to let people know they have outlets with the City where they can voice their opinions and frustrations.

Many say Bessemer was once the center of Pueblo.

"We've got a wonderful mix of commercial, and industrial, and residential, and business, and by improving this neighborhood we improve the quality of life throughout Pueblo, in my opinion," said Daff.

If you were not able to attend the meeting today, you can contact Daff at 719-250-0272.
