The Pueblo Police Department has now confirmed that the possibly "drug related" fire was started in Natasha Fiore's apartment.
The fire started around 4:30am at a home in the 300 block of E. Evans. Two other occupants, a grandmother and a 5 year old were also injured in the fire. The 5-year old has been air lifted to a Colorado Springs hospital with injuries. The grandmother of the family was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition.
Pueblo County Coroner James Kramer identified the victims killed in the fire as Natasha Fiore, 25, and her son, Elijah Pino, 3. The autopsy ruled the mannor of death was by smoke inhalation.
The home had 3 residential units inside, occupants of the other two units escaped safely.
Neighbors in the area claim to have called police saying there was strange activiy going on at the house for quite some time.
Police are hoping to have an exact cause of the fire as early as Monday morning.
