The Colorado State Patrol say one person died in a rollover accident on I-25 Tuesday night, not two as was reported at the scene.

The GMC Yukon was carrying four people, all brothers and sisters in the same family, between the ages of 13 and 21. Killed in the crash was Whitney Jewel, 21, of Colorado Springs.

Another passenger, Thomas Jewel, 16, is listed in critical condition at Penrose Hospital. The driver, Lauren Jewel, 19 was also admitted to Penrose and is listed in good condition.

Merritt Jewel, 13, is listed in fair condition at Memorial Hospital for Children.

While the crash is still under investigation, the CSP says the driver drifted out of her lane, overcorrected, lost control and rolled. The Yukon came to rest on its roof.

The state patrol says all were wearing seatbelts and alcohol is not suspected in this tragedy.
