New regulations released for children's privacy online

Updated rules to protect your child's privacy online just came out.

A revised Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Rule from the Federal Trade Commission is now in effect.

It gives parents more control over the online collection of a child's personal information.

Changes to the rule are meant to address the way children use the internet, including the increased use of mobile devices and social networking.
