Peyton Manning's claim to the best season in NFL history may be in trouble. The league's bookkeepers may take back his passing yards record.
The issue is a first quarter pass in the flat to Eric Decker. It could could be considered a lateral. If they decide to change it, it would count as a running play, and leave Manning seven yards short of Drew Breese's record of 5,766 yards.
Manning broke that mark by one yard at the end of the first half of a 34-14 win over the Raiders. No word on when the official determination will be made.
