No flooding in Manitou Springs overnight

Hours after a voluntary evacuation was issued for Manitou Springs residents, our crews in the field say the city dodged high water in the late night/overnight rainstorms.  

Sandbags are in place at area businesses like Adam's Mountain Cafe.

The American Red Cross has opened an evacuation shelter for anyone who left their home Manitou Springs just in case.

The center is located at the Historical Congregational Church, 103 Pawnee Ave.
