Norfolk-Southern wants to remind you about train safety

Norfolk-Southern is leading a new public safety campaign called "Train your Brain."

It's aimed at reducing the number of accidents on railroad tracks.

Remember walking or biking along a railroad track is both illegal and dangerous.

Regardless of warning signs or signals at a crossing, always expect a train and look both ways.

Do not walk or drive around operating lights and gates.

Never use a railroad track as a shortcut, and remember, trains have the right of way 100% of the time even over emergency vehicles.
