GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - Brock Nelson's rebound goal at 11:54 of the third period lifted North Dakota to a 7-6 win over Colorado College on Friday.
Nelson finished with two goals and an assist for the Fighting Sioux (5-7-1, 3-6-0).
North Dakota also got two goals and an assist from Danny Kristo and three assists from Corban Knight.
The game was tied 6-6 after two periods. Nelson's was the only goal in the third.
Rylan Schwartz netted three goals and Jaden Schwartz added two assists for Colorado College (7-3-0, 5-3-0).
The Tigers got a goal and two assists from Scott Winkler and a goal and an assist from Nick Dineen.
Goalie Brad Eidness had 13 saves after replacing Aaron Dell for North Dakota. Joe Howe and Josh Thorimbert had a total of 25 saves.
